Welcome back on our Japanese Bento series.

We share cute Japanese recipes that you can use for Bento boxes or home parties in this column. These recipes require minimal ingredients and do not require precise measurements. So, feel free to try and enjoy them!

Egg Cupcakes

On our third episode, we present you the savory egg filling and sweet decoration.

It offers a delightful blend of sweet and savory flavors!

Ingredients

・Eggs

・Mayonnaise

・Salt and pepper

・Piping bag

・Decorations of your choice

Let’s Cook!

1. Boil the eggs.

2. Cut the boiled eggs in half and collect the yolks in a bowl.

3. Add mayonnaise, salt and pepper to step 2 and mix them well.

4. Then, fill the mixture from step 3 into a piping bag and squeeze it into the egg cups (to make the egg cups more stable, you can make a small cut on the bottom).

5. Then, decorate with your favorite decorations.
